Public pages and external content
You can read the public guides and use the Finder, drying reference, and calculator without creating a studio record. This build does not add advertising pixels or a separate marketing analytics service.
Product photographs load from Amazon’s image servers. Loading third-party images and following external links involves requests to those providers, which can receive technical connection information. Their own privacy practices apply.
Browser storage and saved records
The spool studio requires no account. Records stay in local storage in this browser profile on this device; they are not uploaded to our server. Anyone using the same browser profile can view them. Clearing site data or closing a private browsing session can erase them. Export backups regularly; import them on another device to transfer records.
The studio saves the spool labels, material descriptions, remaining weights, notes, drying dates, settings, durations, outcomes, and checklist choices you enter. It does not request payment information, photos, location, or access to your other accounts. Avoid putting sensitive personal information in notes.
Retention, export, and deletion
Records remain in this browser until you delete them, clear site data, or the browser removes them. Private browsing may erase records when the session closes. Export JSON backups regularly. Deleting a spool also deletes its drying sessions. Delete all my records clears the studio data in this browser.
Import validates a backup and asks before replacing current records. Export any records you want to keep first. Downloaded backups remain on your device until you delete those files yourself.
Service operations
Cloudflare processes technical requests needed to deliver the website. Studio entries stay in your browser and are not sent to our server. No reminder emails or background monitoring are provided.
Anyone using the same browser profile can access its saved studio. Records are not protected by a site login; avoid sensitive personal information in notes.
