This is active drying hardware for a compatible AMS, not a passive storage accessory or a standalone dryer. Confirm the host model, current adapter requirement, installation instructions, and feed compatibility before ordering.
Tradeoffs and checks
Requires compatible AMS; exclude from ordinary standalone-dryer results unless user owns supported AMS. 2025 introduction says not AMS2, but current linked FAQ adds adapter support. Retain adapter condition. Spool fit and filament feed compatibility depend on host AMS; do not assume TPU compatibility from dryer temperature alone.
If a reel dimension is not established, measure the complete loaded reel and confirm it with the manufacturer or seller. Multi-spool fit can depend on loading arrangement.
Before installing the upgrade
Confirm the exact AMS generation and required adapter, then follow current EIBOS installation and operating instructions. Temperature capability alone does not prove spool fit or flexible-filament feed compatibility.
A chamber or container sensor reports nearby air conditions; it does not directly measure water inside every layer of wound filament.
