A humidity reading that pauses or rises does not automatically mean a dryer has failed. Relative humidity depends on temperature and describes the air around the sensor, not the water inside the whole spool. Check the operating stage, loading, manual, and comparable readings before deciding whether the machine needs service.
Write down the conditions behind the number
Record the model, selected temperature, elapsed time, load, room conditions, and displayed humidity. Note whether the chamber is warming, holding temperature, or cooling. A lone percentage without context cannot explain whether the device is behaving as intended.

If the documentation gives a lower display limit, a number near that limit is not evidence that the air has reached exactly that percentage.
Compare the current behavior with previous cycles using the same machine, similar loads, and the same settings. Avoid comparing different dryers' displays as if both sensors occupied the same temperature and airflow conditions. Your own consistent record is a more useful starting point for identifying a change worth investigating.
Inspect loading and permitted airflow
Check the external intake and exhaust areas and confirm that the unit has the clearances required by its manual. Verify that the spool and any accessories occupy approved positions and do not obstruct a documented airflow path. Use the vent or plug arrangement specified for the current operating mode.
Do not wedge lids open, drill extra vents, or add internal fans based on a generic online fix. Those changes can alter the machine's behavior and create new uncertainty. If the manual does not answer how moisture is managed on your model, ask support rather than reverse-engineering a solution during a live cycle.

Separate a sensor concern from a heating concern
If the display changes unexpectedly, first check for error messages and documented troubleshooting steps. If normal temperature control or fan operation appears absent, stop according to the manual and contact the manufacturer. Explain whether the issue is a stalled reading, unexpected heating, a fan concern, or unchanged print quality.
